My name is Hampus Drott i'm a Lt. Colonel in the Confederate Army.
I command the Swedish Volunteers in the IVth corp in the Army of the Mississippi. I'm from Sweden and emigrated to the the southern states in 1855, I quickly learned english and the enlisted in the United States Army. When the civil war started I choosed to defend my home state of Louisiana. I choosed to travel around to towns and villages in the south to gather more swedish people that would like to enlist in the confederate army. The Confederate high command then choosed to create the swedish volunteer brigade with me as their commander, and attached it to the IVth Corp in the Army of the Mississippi.
