W.T. Sherman "War is Cruelty" Awards

To encourage the Officers of the Army of the Tennessee to closely emulate the Maj Gen W.T. Sherman’s desire to make the insurrectionists fear and dread our Rugged Western Warriors, I am initiating a rewards and recognitions program for bringing the Cruelty of War home to the leadership of the Rebel Armies.

Rules of Engagement 1. Rewards and recognitions will be paid on a monthly basis. 2. Enemy casualty reports must be from an ACWGC registered battle (not maneuver). 3. Report all rebel casualties each month to be eligible for reward and recognition. 4. Reports of casualties must include: Your name, rank and unit, Opponents name, rank, unit and email address, Game engine, scenario name and #, enemy leader rank and name, type of casualty (K,W or C), VPs received, date of casualty. 5. Multiple casualties for a single battle can be combined into a single report. 6. Reports must be sent to the Commander, Army of the Tennessee not later than the 10th of the following month to be credited for current month. For killing/wounding the highest point value (VP) rebel leader each month - 5 OBD and Inscription on the Sherman’s Sharpshooter Plaque. For highest VP total (Captures/Kills/Woundings) each month - 3 OBD and Inscription on the Fear and Despair Crown.
